I have to admit that coming to the dentist was never at the top of my list of priorities, like so many people I guess.

It wasn’t the cost. I have always been a believer that if you want the best, you need to be prepared to pay for it.

But I have never had the best of luck with my teeth. It seems that whatever I did, I still needed fillings every 6 months. And that, with the pain and the hassle, made a visit to the dentist one of the last things I would think about. Yes I would try and visit every six months, but I dreaded it. Also, being in business myself, I am sure, I am not the easiest person to please with good service.

When Tariq joined Carisbrook, that changed almost immediately. I for one was delighted. Here, I saw a young, enthusiastic, new owner take control and straight away things improved. The whole place took on a new brighter look, with ambitious development plans including ceiling mounted plasma TVs to make patients feel comfortable. And in this new relaxing environment, I decided to explore what I had always wanted, to improve the visual appearance of my teeth. So I underwent a treatment of enhancements to 12 individual teeth. Yes it was hard going, well, a little. But after a number of treatments, I now have a set of teeth that I can be proud of, and a brilliant new look.

I am delighted with the work Tariq and his team provide. I know it sounds a bit naff and slightly ridiculous but coming to Carisbrook Dental, is like visiting old friends. From the warm reception operated by Hilary, to being treated by Tariq, with Rabena’s help, and even the hygienist, it’s really so easy and so relaxing. I can imagine people thinking, relaxing ? The dentist? Yea right J. BUT, I mean it. No longer am I bothered about coming. In fact, I like it.

I would recommend this dental practise to anyone who will listen ..TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF ! You won’t be disappointed.
It is THE BEST !

I came for a consultation regarding straitening/whitening my teeth for my upcoming wedding 2011.

From the moment I telephoned and spoke to Wendy and Jean I felt at ease with the politeness and knowledge that I would be in safe hands.

Jean even remembered my name on the occasions I rang back J

When I came for my consultation with Tariq he advised me the best option for whitening and then asked Usman the orthodontist could he see me whilst I was there to save me coming back.

Usman and Tariq advised me the best options/prices available for teeth whitening and braces and I was never under any pressure to go ahead.

After a few calls elsewhere I decided that Carisbrook was the one for me.

Although the treatment of braces isn’t a very nice ordeal to have, I was always assured they would be on the end of the phone for any problems that occurred.

After approx 18months of having the braces the time came to remove them.

I was elated to say the least and I was very pleased with the outcome.

Approximately a week later I received a bouquet of flowers, chocolates and a balloon with a message saying ‘Congratulations on you new smile’ from Carisbrook Dental Practice!

That particular day was a bit stressful at work so to come home and find this was a wonderful surprise.

If anyone wants the WOW factor for service with a smile etc then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carisbrook Dental Practice

Thank you for the excellent treatment I received from you. My new smile has changed my life!!!! I can smile and talk to people with out the embarrassment of them thinking my teeth are ugly.

As you will remember I was very nervous when I came to see you. I had not seen a dentist for over 10 years due to fear of injections. You helped me over this with your excellent gizmo ‘the wand’ and needless to say it was pain free. I have been coming to the Carisbrook Dental Centre since I was 5 years old! Under Mr Richard Noar, your dentist, like your hairdresser, is a very trusting relationship therefore the change of ownership to Tariq Idrees was a concern to me. However, with the support of Rodina, I have had all good experience in the dental chair. And the ‘works of art’ -in ceramic form- continue.

Over the last few years I have had increasing problems due to an irrational phobia about having too many dental instruments in my mouth during treatment.

It sounds like a minor thing but it has caused me and several dentists severe difficulties when I have required dental work.

Since moving to Australia in 2001 I have searched for a dentist who can deal with my problem but to-date have been unsuccessful.

On a recent trip back to the UK a friend recommended Dr Patel.

I have to say he is by far away the best dentist I have seen and over three short visits he had achieved what many other dentists would not have been able to do without a general anaesthetic.

Dr Patel’s sensational work was carried out in a sympathetic and understanding way.

I explained the issue and he dealt with it in a non-condescending professional manner.

I cannot recommend him enough so much so I am prepared to travel from Australia to have all my
dental work done by Dr Patel.
