The ‘Masters’ of dental implant surgery

It’s why Carisbrook is the dental implant clinic that other dentists refer their own patients to

Over recent years there has been something of a surge in the demand for dental implants. Partly this is because it has now become a ‘standard procedure’ for many global celebrities wanting to have that perfect smile. Equally though, dental implant surgery has become far more acceptable for people from all walks of life who wish to correct or replace damaged, missing or unsightly teeth by replacing them with permanently fixed, individually manufactured implants. As you might expect though, standards of dental implant surgery can vary enormously depending on the experience and competence of the dental surgeon involved, as well as the quality of the implants themselves. At Carisbrook, we are now internationally acknowledged as being amongst the best of the best with not just one, but three of the most eminent dental implant specialists, all of whom are qualified to the highest Master of Science degree level in implant dentistry. It is what makes Carisbrook unique in the science of dental implantology … and it is why so many dentists now refer their own patients to our renowned dental implant clinic.

In order to gain an MSc in Implant Dentistry, the dental surgeon has to undertake an intensive full-time, one-year study course and pass the most rigorous examination of their skills, knowledge and competency. Alternative the dentist can study a three-year part-time course, but must still pass the most stringent examinations in order to achieve their MSc Dental Implantology qualification.

Compare this to the weekend courses that some so-called ‘dental implant specialists’ are now attending. Who would you rather trust?

The other point to watch out for is the quality of the dental implants themselves. At Carisbrook, we use only the very best. Products we know and trust and that we are confident will provide many, many years of trouble-free satisfaction.
