Same-Day Teeth and All-on-4 Implants in Manchester
If your teeth are failing, or your dentures move every time you eat or laugh, you have probably started planning your life around your mouth. Same-day teeth change that. For suitable patients, you arrive with the teeth you are tired of, and leave the same day with a fixed, natural-looking set that stays put.
Fixed teeth in a single day
Most people assume replacing a full set of teeth means months without teeth, or a denture in between. With All-on-4, that is rarely the case. Your implants and a fixed temporary bridge are fitted in one visit, so you never go without teeth.

What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is a way of replacing a whole upper or lower arch of teeth using just four implants. Two go in at the front of the jaw and two are angled towards the back, where they can make the most of the bone you have. Together they support a full bridge of teeth that is fixed in place, so it never comes out.
Because the back implants are angled, many people who have been told they do not have enough bone for implants can still have All-on-4, often without a bone graft. Read our full guide to All-on-4 same-day teeth.
Are you a candidate for same-day teeth?
Same-day teeth could be right for you if you:
- Have lost most or all of the teeth in your upper or lower jaw
- Have several loose, broken or failing teeth
- Wear a denture that slips, rubs or stops you eating what you like
- Have been told you have bone loss
You will need to be in good general health, and gum disease or infection needs to be under control first. Smoking raises the risk of implant problems, so we will ask you to stop around your surgery. The only way to know for sure is a consultation and a 3D scan, which we can take here at the practice.
Your treatment day, hour by hour
Your treatment day is carefully planned in advance, so on the day, all you need to do is arrive. A typical day looks like this:
Morning: arrival and settling in
You meet your surgeon, go through the plan one final time and, if you have chosen sedation, we help you relax.
Morning: surgery
Any failing teeth are gently removed and your four implants are placed under local anaesthetic.
Midday: time to rest
While you rest, your fixed temporary bridge is prepared to fit your new implants.
Afternoon: your new teeth
Your bridge is secured onto the implants, checked for comfort and bite, and you are given clear aftercare instructions.
Evening: home
You will need someone to take you home, especially after sedation. We will phone you the next day to see how you are.
Over the following months, your implants fuse with your jawbone. Once healing is complete, your temporary bridge is replaced with your final, custom-made bridge.
All-on-4 compared with conventional dentures
Dentures are still a good option for many people, and cost far less. Not ready for fixed teeth? Implant-retained dentures are a middle ground, clipping securely onto implants.

Aftercare and long-term maintenance
For the first few weeks, you will stick to soft foods while your implants settle. After that, looking after your new teeth is much like looking after natural ones:
- Brush twice a day, and clean under the bridge with the brushes or water flosser we recommend.
- See our hygienist regularly, so we can clean around the implants and check your gums.
- Keep up regular check-ups, as the bridge may need occasional maintenance over the years.
- Avoid smoking, which is one of the biggest risks to implants.

We are in Whitefield, just off Bury New Road, around 20 minutes from Manchester city centre. On your treatment day, we recommend someone drives you, as you should not drive after sedation. We have 12 free parking spaces on site and free on-street parking nearby, and we are close to junction 17 of the M60.
