Getting to us from Prestwich
Take a Bury-bound Metrolink tram from Prestwich stop. Get off at Besses o’ th’ Barn (one stop) or Whitefield (two stops), then walk around five minutes to the practice.
From Prestwich village and the Longfield Centre, head north on Bury New Road (A56), past Besses o’ th’ Barn and into Whitefield. Knowsley Road is off Bury New Road. If you are coming from the Heaton Park side, stay on the A56 all the way.
The 98 and 135 run along Bury New Road between Prestwich and Whitefield, stopping close to the practice.
Parking and accessibility
There is no need to hunt for a space on the high street. We have our own free car park with room for 12 cars, and free parking on nearby streets. Our car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible, and patients with limited mobility can be seen in our ground-floor surgeries. We do not have an accessible toilet, due to the conservation order on our building.
Registering as a new patient
Becoming a patient takes just one appointment. Your new patient check-up is £73, including x-rays, and gives you time to talk through any worries. You can book it online at a time that suits you. We are not taking on new NHS patients at the moment. To spread the cost of routine care, our membership plan starts from £21.17 a month.
