We are part of the Borough of Bury, and patients from Bury town centre, Unsworth and beyond have been coming to us for 70 years.
Bury is well served by mixed NHS and private practices, and many of them refer patients to us when treatment becomes more complex, such as implants, orthodontics or difficult extractions. Because we have GDC-registered specialists in oral surgery, orthodontics and children’s dentistry, along with our own 3D CT scanner, Bury patients can have almost any treatment here, rather than waiting for a hospital referral or visiting a scanning centre.
We also see patients from further north, including Ramsbottom, who find the A56 an easy run down to Whitefield.

Getting to us from Bury
Take a Manchester-bound Metrolink tram from Bury Interchange. Whitefield is two stops away, after Radcliffe, and the practice is around a five-minute walk from the stop.
From Bury town centre, near the Rock shopping centre and Bury Market, head south on Manchester Road (A56). The road continues into Whitefield as Bury New Road. Knowsley Road is off Bury New Road.
The 135 runs from Bury Interchange via Whitefield to Manchester, and the 98 runs from Bury via Radcliffe. Both stop on Bury New Road close to the practice.
The fact that I’ve travelled the best part of 45mins to an hour for each appointment speaks for itself.
Parking and accessibility
Unlike a town-centre practice, there are no car park charges here. Our own car park holds 12 cars, and there is free on-street parking close by. Our entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible, and we have ground-floor surgeries for patients with limited mobility. Please note that we cannot offer an accessible toilet, as our building has a conservation order.
Registering as a new patient
Your first step is a new patient check-up. It costs £73, including x-rays, and you can book it online or by phone. We are not taking on new NHS patients at the moment. If you would rather pay monthly for your routine care, our membership plan starts from £21.17 a month.
