Enlighten teeth whitening
The Enlighten whitening system is the best system on the market and it guarantees much whiter teeth. After a whitening consultation at Carisbrook Dental, if your teeth are suitable for whitening, impressions will be taken of your teeth to make custom trays. These trays are used for 2 weeks at home to whiten your teeth.
After 2 weeks, a one-hour in-surgery whitening session here in Manchester may be required to complete your Enlighten whitening journey. Enlighten gives you the whitest, most consistent and long lasting results, which is why it is our most popular whitening option!
At-home teeth whitening
We understand that many patients have limited time and would like to whiten their teeth in the convenience of their own home. Our home whitening kits are a great option as they give good results within 2-3 weeks.
Our home whitening system is safe, not damaging to your teeth, self-monitored so you can start or stop whitening at your convenience and is a gradual whitening process.
The at-home teeth whitening process
Your journey to a brighter, whiter smile using our home whitening system begins with a whitening consultation with your dentist here at Carisbrook Dental, if your teeth are suitable for whitening, impressions will be taken of your teeth.
The custom whitening trays are made and fitted and you are provided with whitening syringes to take home and use in the comfort of your own home.
Frequently asked questions about teeth whitening
After the whitening process, you may wish to avoid consuming food and drinks rich in colour to prolong your whitening results. Smoking and consuming foods/drinks rich in colour such as red wine, coffee and curries can cause staining and discolouration to your teeth.
We advise all our patients to maintain good oral hygiene and attend their routine dental and hygiene appointments every six months.
The whitening result is dependent on several factors including your overall health, oral hygiene, diet, lifestyle choices and the teeth whitening system used.
Your dentist will discuss expectations of duration of whiteness for each system at your whitening consultation.
The Enlighten whitening system involves a two-week whitening period at home then attending the practice for a one hour whitening session to complete the whitening process.
If you choose to whiten using the home kit, your whitening period is bespoke and depends on the current shade of your teeth and your desired result.
Your dentist will discuss how long it will take to whiten your teeth at your whitening consultation. Patients usually see good results from home their whitening kit after 2 to 3 weeks of consistent whitening.
