In order to gain an MSc in Implant Dentistry, the dental surgeon has to undertake an intensive full-time, one-year study course and pass the most rigorous examination of their skills, knowledge and competency. Alternative the dentist can study a three-year part-time course, but must still pass the most stringent examinations in order to achieve their MSc Dental Implantology qualification.

In addition to being one of the Carisbrook dental implants team, Dr Adams is also a clinical lecturer in dental implantology at Cardiff Dental Hospital.  He also teaches postgraduate and undergraduate students about dental implants and he has appeared on Channel Four’s ’10 Years Younger’ programme.

Dr James Stafford

Dr Stafford completed his Masters degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Warwick, graduating with distinction and the award for the highest marks.

Dr Tariq Idrees

After qualifying from Manchester University with Honours, Dr Idrees specialised in dental cosmetics and has treated many different clients including soap stars, pop stars, footballers and footballer’s wives.  He has also appeared on Channel Four’s ’10 Years Younger’ programme.  

Dr Idrees is currently completing his MSc qualifications in Dental Implantology.
