“The whole world smiles with you”

There’s an old song that goes: “When you’re smiling … the whole world smiles with you”. And it’s true because when you have a lovely smile the world around you really does appear to be a happier place. So this week we though we’d delve into our case studies and tell you about Kathryn Brownhill who was so unhappy with her teeth and her smile that her own dentist referred her to Carisbrook Dental for treatment by Orthodontics Manchester and Cosmetic Dentist Manchester.Kathryn had always been unhappy with her teeth, which were small, overcrowded and misaligned. She was so conscious of her smile that she had developed a grinding habit that only exacerbated the problem. Her own dentist however, recognized that the necessary treatment was both complex and specialised, which is why he referred her to Carisbrook Dental.At our initial consultation we asked Kathryn what she would like the outcome of her treatment to be. Her reply was straighter, longer teeth with an attractive appearance.Our first task was to improve the alignment and so our specialist orthodontist fitted invisible Lingual and Invisalign braces to Kathryn’s teeth so that they would not be noticed while they worked to straighten her teeth. Because her teeth were too short, Dr Adams undertook a ‘Smile Lift’, which involved profiling her gums to enhance the length of her teeth.The next stage saw Kathryn treated by Dr Idrees who performed a tooth whitening procedure using a home whitening process that improved the appearance of her teeth by an astounding ten shades.
